Hello Everybody!

I am very please to invite you to the seminar described below.

We've reserved ten seats specifically for realityeditors.com members -- yes, that means that you can sign up for it even if you're not a Local 700 member!

This seminar was offered before by MPEG and there was such a long waiting list that we scheduled another one. If I can somehow get more than 10 seats I will be sure to offer them up here, but I have a feeling they will go quite quickly....

So, reply below if you want to go. I'll save seats for the first ten affirmative replies to this post. I will also keep an "alternates" list, but I hope you will only sign up if you know you can attend.

-Tris

Michael A. Krulik, Senior Applications Editor for Avid Technology

Michael has been working with non-linear technology since its inception, witnessing the progression from extremely pixilated imagery and excruciating rendering times to the speed and online quality that we see today. Having worked with multiple manufactures and dealers, he has experience editing on systems from Avid, Media 100, Panasonic and Editing Machines Corporation.

Michael's professional editing experience includes PSAs, documentaries for The Discovery Channel and the DNC, award-winning underground films, and a Daryl Hannah documentary entitled Strip Notes. At Avid Technology, he has had the pleasure to work with and demo new technologies to industry editors, producers and directors at the studios, networks, facilities and schools throughout the LA area and across the country.

Yes, you should be able to park in back. If not, I believe that there's free parking on Genesee, but check the signs to make sure.

I have to apologize for not canceling earlier. I got a night gig on that started Wednesday and things have been such a blur I totally forgot to come here and cancel.
Sorry,
Steve
