Welcome to RealityEditors.com! This is the place for reality television editors and assistant editors to discuss unionizing with the Motion Picture Editors Guild and the IATSE, and to get information about the process of union organizing and the benefits of having a union contract. We hope it will help us build a broad community in reality television, and help create strategies so that people working in reality television can get more than just a paycheck for their work.

Please start with the FAQ/Library section so you can get some basic information and have an idea of what the issues are.

Anyone can look at the information and discussion here, but only people who work as editors or assistant editors in reality television may post. If you wish to post, you will be asked for your real name so we can verify your credits, but you can choose a different "screen name" in order to be able to post without disclosing your identity.
